Music for Everyday Life Rooted in Excellence
Cedar Street Studios isn’t just music lessons, we’re becoming the hub of our families’ musical life
-
Growing up, I sang with the Collegiate Peaks Chorale and performed with High Country Fine Arts. But for real instruction in cello and voice, my family drove to Denver. So did every serious music family in this valley.
I left for a degree in composition, scored film and television, and recorded with the Czech Studio Orchestra in Prague. Then I came back because families shouldn’t need to drive hours for high-quality music education.
-
Cedar Street Studios is more than music lessons. It's becoming the center of musical life for the families that come here. Choir, jam sessions, and songwriting sit alongside private instruction, all built around one goal: a real musical community in this valley, not just a weekly lesson.

Through this program students will be prepared to learn violin in private instruction and to participate in youth orchestras.
